River reclamation in conjunction with climate change,

is transforming waterways in Denmark and similar landscapes throughout northern Europe, this creates a demand for bridges with greater flexibility, that are able to adapt to flooding, or long dry seasons.

The Wave bridge is a highly flexible pontoon bridge system with a poetic expression, designed for waterways, with dynamic water levels.

Wave has a constant level of water flow, ensuring that debris does not pile up during floods, and that it does not suffer structural damage. In dry seasons, the bridge will rest on the bottom of the waterway.

One deck element weighs 65 kg. the lightness of the system, ensures easy deployment in remote areas, and that the system can be installed, without the need to make lasting alterations to the landscape.

This is achieved with a construction of stamped aluminium, filled with low density biodegradable foam.

One 40 foot container can contain five smaller bridges, with a total length of 72 metres.
